Theme – Anticipating Easter, remembering the hill with three crosses

Content – the verses each take a different aspect of Easter. Verse 1 reflects spring, and the changes in nature that tell us Easter’s on the way; verse 2 is all about chocolate and Easter cake; verse 3 is about people doing special things at Easter, painting eggs, making bonnets, singing in church etc. The chorus recalls the Christian Easter story, as we 'travel in time to the hill of three crosses' to remember Jesus' sacrifice on the cross - and the joy of the resurrection.
