This delightful Christmas presentation is full of life and truly captures the spirit of Christmas. It tells the Nativity story in nine songs and linking narrative, and is ideal for schools and young choirs to perform as part of a carol concert.
The songs are really catchy and appealing, and although they may be sung in unison there are very effective harmony and counterpoint parts, which are easily achievable even by inexperienced singers. Tuned percussion parts are included in the book for six of the songs. A PowerPoint presentation of the lyrics is available from Starshine Music.

One Night in Bethlehem is a superb collection of songs that captures the real spirit of a traditional, holy, Christmas. Using simple harmonies and two-part singing the songs are cleverly crafted, upbeat, catchy and easy to learn. The use of different musical genres is engaging and performers and audience alike are taken on a magical musical journey. This material really does promote quality singing, musical understanding and choral performance. I really liked that each song is linked by a short reading that retells the Christmas story and the birth of Christ. This is beautifully written and wonderfully composed. Our schools Christmas concert wrapped up in one nice neat parcel. Thank you.
