Panto Pandemonium 2 hr. show

This superb two-hour version of the ever-popular children's version is ideal for secondary schools, amateur panto societies and youth/community theatre groups. There's an entertaining script, lots of quirky characters, plus a great soundtrack featuring 16 songs for mixed voices, excellent incidental music and sound effects. On top of all of this, the director's resources (see below) are particularly comprehensive and well thought-out, placing 'Panto Pandemonium' among the most user-friendly packages available.  Reviewed by Amateur Stage magazine, 'Panto Pandemonium' is described as "a magically refreshing pantomime... remarkably entertaining script, awash with comedy as well as a delightful story line."  

Jack's Beanstalk won't grow - Aladdin's lamp won't work - Cinderella's slipper won't fit - the Good Fairy is in a state, because none of her magic is working.  In short, it's chaos in Pantoland!  This is all because the baddies (the Wicked Witch and her incompetent sidekicks Snotty & Grotty) have stolen three magic objects: Aladdin's magic lamp, Cinderella's magic slipper, and the goose that lays the golden eggs.  Meanwhile the goodies, Ben and Sarah, are sent on a quest to thwart the Witch's master plan, searching in lots of different pantomime locations (along with plenty of gags and 'business').  There are stacks of traditional panto gags and 'business' and the show is compered by two eccentric hosts - aptly named Boo & Hiss!  

Eventually, with the help of the Good Fairy, Ben and Sarah manage to track down all three missing magic objects - AND they are able to return them triumphantly to their rightful owners, much to the disgust of the Wicked Witch!  It doesn't stop there, however. In the end, the Good Fairy is able to recognise that, in her defeat, the Witch is isolated and alone. Everyone is persuaded to encourage her to turn her life around and 'step into light'. What will she choose to do?   

This ready-made, family-friendly panto has full score available (plus all instrumental parts) as well as expertly arranged backing tracks.  The music is available both in sheet form or in PDF format.  Individual scores are available for piano-vocal, keyboard (1 & 2), guitar, bass, and drums. 

The set of four CDs contains:
1) vocal demonstrations of all the songs,
2) instrumental backings 
3) excellent comedy sound effects to enhance the performance 
4) hi-resolution artwork for posters, programmes and tickets.
